Complete Equipment List for Large-Scale Rapeseed Oil Production Line

Large-scale rapeseed oil pressing production line (suitable for daily production capacity of 50-500 tons/day, meeting large-scale industrial production), is divided into four sections: pretreatment section, oil pressing section, refining section, finished product storage and filling section.

The equipment in each section operates linked to ensure the automation and high efficiency of the whole process from rapeseed raw materials to qualified edible oil. The following is a detailed description of each equipment (including function, specification and function, adapting to the needs customers):

Pretreatment section

Function: removing impurities, optimizing billets, improving efficiency for subsequent pressing and reducing equipment loss.

Pretreatment is the basis of large-scale production line, which directly affects the oil output rate and the service life of subsequent equipment. The complete set of equipment according to the process is as follows:

1. Vibrating Cleaning Sieve

Function: Carry out preliminary cleaning on raw rapeseed, remove large particle impurities such as straw, weeds, soil and broken leaves (removal rate ≥98%), and prevent impurities from entering subsequent equipment, causing equipment wear or affecting oil quality.

2. Specific Gravity Stone Remover

Function: Using the difference of specific gravity between rapeseed and sand and gravel, thoroughly separate heavy impurities such as sand and gravel and metal debris mixed in raw materials through wind force and vibration (stone removal rate ≥99%), protect the rolls of subsequent crushers, billet rollers and screws of oil press, and avoid equipment jamming and wear.

3. Magnetic Separator

Function: Remove the hidden iron impurities (such as iron nails, iron chips, iron wires, etc.) in the raw materials, prevent the iron impurities from entering the equipment such as crushing and rolling, avoid the wear and damage of key components such as rolls and screw pressing, and at the same time avoid the iron impurities mixed in the oil, which affects the safety of oil quality.

4. Rapeseed Crusher

Function: Crushing the clean rapeseed into uniform small particles (2-4 petals), breaking the shell of rapeseed, facilitating subsequent softening and rolling, increasing the contact area between the billet and the grease, and improving the subsequent oil yield.

5. Softening Pot

Function: Heating and tempering the crushed rapeseed (adding a small amount of water to control the moisture content of the billet at 10-12%), softening the billet, increasing plasticity, avoiding powder generation during subsequent billet rolling, reducing the wear of the billet rolling machine and ensuring uniform billet rolling.


6. Flaking Machine

Function: The softened rapeseed billet is pressed into a uniform, thin and tough billet (the thin billet can increase the oil seepage area), and at the same time, the cell structure of rapeseed is destroyed, so as to prepare for subsequent steaming, frying and pressing, which can increase the oil yield by 3-5%.

Oil pressing section:

The pretreated billet is pressed at high temperature to extract crude oil.

The equipment in this section directly determines the oil yield and crude oil quality. Large production lines all adopt continuous pressing, so there is no need for manual frequent feeding and cake discharge.

The specific equipment is as follows:

1. Continuous Steaming and Frying Pan

Function: continuously steaming and frying the billet after rolling, removing the excess water in the billet through high temperature (controlling the water content at 3-5%), at the same time, fully softening the grease in the billet, enhancing the fluidity, destroying the combination of grease and protein, facilitating the smooth seepage of grease during subsequent pressing, and maximizing the oil yield.



2. Large-Scale Screw Oil Press

Function: the main engine of the production line, through the high-speed rotation of the spiral shaft, generates high pressure (the pressure can reach 30-50MPa) and shear force on the blank after steaming and frying, and extrudes the grease in the blank to realize oil cake separation; Continuous production with oil yields up to 38-42% (adjusted according to rapeseed quality).


3. Crude Oil Filter

Function: The crude oil pressed by the oil press is preliminarily filtered to remove residue, impurities, colloids, etc. in the crude oil, so as to make the crude oil clear, avoid impurities from entering the subsequent refining section, block the refining equipment, and improve the refining efficiency at the same time.

Rapeseed Oil Refining section

The crude oil after preliminary filtration can remove impurities, peculiar odors and harmful substances, and reach the edible grade standard, which is suitable for edible oil standards in different regions.

The large production line adopts continuous refining, and the whole process is automatically controlled to ensure the stable quality of refined oil. The specific equipment according to the refining process is as follows:

1. Hydration Degumming Tank

Function: Add an appropriate amount of warm water (or brine) to the crude oil, combine the colloidal impurities (such as phospholipid and colloid) in the crude oil with water by stirring to form flocculant precipitate, and then remove the colloidal impurities (degumming rate ≥98%) by precipitation and separation; The degummed crude oil improves the stability and avoids delamination and turbidity in the subsequent refining process.

2. Alkali Refining Tank

Function: Add edible-grade lye solution (such as sodium hydroxide solution) to the degummed crude oil to neutralize the free fatty acids in the crude oil to generate soap feet (which can be recycled for making soap and biodiesel), and then remove the soap feet through a separation device to reduce the acid value of the crude oil (acid value ≤0.5mgKOH/g, which meets the edible standard), and remove some impurities and peculiar odors at the same time.




3. Decolorization Tank + Clay Dosing Device

Function: Add food-grade activated clay to the deacidified crude oil, stir under vacuum and high temperature conditions, and use the adsorption action of clay to remove pigments (such as chlorophyll and carotenoids), peculiar odor substances and residual impurities in the crude oil, so that the oil color becomes clear and transparent (reaching the first-grade rapeseed oil color standard), and at the same time improve the stability of oil.

4. Deodorization Tower

Function: Under the condition of high temperature and high vacuum, steam is introduced into the deodorization tower, and the volatile odor substances (such as aldehydes, ketones and free fatty acids) in the oil are removed by steam stripping, and the residual trace soap feet and white clay particles are removed at the same time, so that the rapeseed oil can reach the edible grade standard, with light taste and no odor, which meets the relevant standards.
 

5. Fine Filter

Function: Final fine filtration of deodorized oil to remove residual trace clay particles, impurities and suspended matter, ensuring that the refined oil is clear and transparent, of uniform quality, and reaches the quality standard of first-grade rapeseed oil (in accordance with GB 2716-2018, EU EC 1881/2006 standard).

6. Auxiliary equipment (necessary for refining section)

Vacuum system: It is composed of vacuum pump and vacuum tank, which provides high vacuum environment for deodorization and deodorization to ensure deodorization and decolorization effect.

Thermal oil furnace: It provides a stable heat source for steaming wok, degumming tank, deacidification tank, decolorization tank and deodorization tower. It can be heated by natural gas, diesel oil or electric, with low energy consumption and uniform heating.

Oil-water separator: Separate wastewater and grease produced in degumming and deacidification process, recycle grease, reduce waste, and treat wastewater at the same time, in line with environmental protection requirements.


Finished product storage and filling section

Function: Storage refined qualified rapeseed oil, realize automatic filling, labeling, packaging, convenient transportation and sales.

The equipment of this section is suitable for large production capacity, realizes the whole process automation, reduces labor cost, and ensures the safe storage and accurate filling of refined oil. The specific equipment is as follows:

1. Refined oil storage tank (Finished Oil Storage Tank)

Function: the refined qualified rapeseed oil is stored to avoid the contact oxidation between oil and air, and the temperature of oil is stabilized to ensure the stability of oil quality; The storage tank can realize automatic feeding, automatic discharging and linked filling equipment.

2. Automatic Filling Machine

Function: Automatic filling of refined oil into bottles or barrels, accurate quantitation, avoid waste, and realize automated operation, reduce manual intervention and improve filling efficiency.


3. Capping Machine

Function: Adapt to different specifications of bottle caps (plastic caps, metal caps), adopt automatic gland, high gland qualification rate, can be linked with filling machine to realize the integration of filling and gland.

4. Labeling Machine

Function: Automatic labeling, suitable for a variety of bottle types and barrels, the labeling speed is synchronized with the filling machine, the labeling accuracy is high, the production date and shelf life can be printed.

5. Packaging Machine

Function: It is adapted to bottled and barreled finished products, and packaged by wrapping film or carton, so as to realize automatic packaging of finished products, which is convenient for transportation and storage.

6. Conveying and electronic control system (whole process linkage)

Conveying equipment: including belt conveyor, screw conveyor and pipeline conveyor, which runs through the whole production line to realize the automatic conveying of raw materials, billets, crude oil, refined oil and finished products. The materials are divided into stainless steel and carbon steel according to their uses.

Electronic control system: It adopts PLC control system and is equipped with touch screen operation panel, which can realize the whole process of automatic control (feeding, processing, discharging and filling). At the same time, it has the functions of fault alarm, parameter adjustment, output statistics, etc., and can remotely monitor the production status to ensure the stable operation of the production line and reduce labor costs.
